The Houston, Fort Bend County and Bay Area Accordion Clubs are co-sponsoring a tribute concert to honor accordionist Joe Vento.
Joe was noticed at an early age by accordion virtuoso Charles Magnante and went on to a career that included over 500 movie and TV appearances. Joe performed for 27 years with the Three Suns appearing many times on The Tonight Show, Ed Sullivan Show, and others.
There will be dancing and music provided by Dan and Kim Christian, Sammy Thomas, and Mario Pedone. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Doors open at 6pm, show starts at 7pm.
