What:
The 8th Annual Louisiana Beef Council's Rice and Gravy Cook-Off is one of LARC's (Lafayette Association for Retarded Citizens) largest fundraisers. Enjoy free rice and gravy samples and free beef jambalaya from Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Department. Performers include:
* Donnie Broussard and Louisiana Stars
* Jambalaya Cajun Band w/ Special Guest DL Menard
* Kevin Naquin and the Ossun Playboys
* Charlo and Southern Tradition with Charles Mann, Warren Storm
* Terry and the Zydeco Bad Boys
Admission is $6, children 6 and under are free. First 500 through the gate receive free 1 lb. bag of rice from Louisiana Rice Council.
