What:
The 3rd annual Camp Accordionland is a weekend full of workshops, jam sessions, ensemble playing, and just plain fun with 50 other accordionists at beautiful Tilden Park in Berkeley.
Workshop topics range from conjunto polka styles to gypsy ensemble to body percussion. Teachers include Henri Ducharme (the organizer), Lou Jacklich, Lauro Guajardo, Sarah Noll, and more.
Students who want the full, immersive experience can camp overnight on Friday and/or Saturday night at the park. Camp tuition includes lunch, dinner, and snacks.
