Renowned as the rockin' Zydeco Sweetheart, Rosie Ledet is a rare female accordionist from rural southwest Louisiana. She mastered her instrument by practicing on her husband's accordion while he was at work, and now she'll knock your socks off with her infectious, high-octane performance. Her bluesy voice is edged with soul and sensuality. Ledet sings sly, lusty songs that she writes in Creole French and English. Laissez les bon temps roulez!
This show is part of a Labor Day Cajun Cookout from noon to 5pm, complete with panfried catfish and jambalaya with all the fixins!
