Polka dancing is king each September at the Corn Palace Polka Festival in Mitchell. Live bands play waltzes, fox trots, polkas and mixer dances. Tickets are $12.00 per person per day, or $29.00 for a 3-day package deal, tax included.
Bands performing at this year's festival include the Top Notchmen, the Rhythm Playboys, and Julie Lee & the White Rose Band.
