Zydeco fans ready for fresh, contemporary grooves with a rhythm and blues edge need look no further than Curley Taylor and Zydeco Trouble. Curley Taylor's experience with Geno Delafose, Sean Ardoin, Steve Riley and C.J. Chenier, his dad, Jude Taylor & uncle Lil Buck Sinegal have prepared him for an illustrious musical career of his own.
The reviewers are taking notice of his first release "Country Boy." The TIMES Rhythm & News section calls Taylor "the freshest Zydeco act to come along since Beau Jocque," and Dan Willging of Offbeat Magazine says Curley Taylor "has already separated himself from the rest of the pack."
Doors open at 6pm for dinner, drinks or socializing, music runs from 7:30pm to 11pm. Pre-show cajun dance lessons at 6:30pm. Tickets are $22 at the door.
