National Accordion Association Convention

The National Accordion Association will be holding its annual convention March 13-15, 2008, in Dallas, TX. This year's theme: It’s Party Time – Bring Your Accordion! All training sessions will be focused on knowing how to entertain with your accordion.

Events include:

Friday Night "Polka Plus" Show and Dance: An evening of performances by Brave Combo, Fabulous Six Polka Band, and an all-star accordion band that includes Carl Finch (Brave Combo), Ginny Mac, Danny Jerabek (Copper Box), Bradley Williams (Polkasonics), Patrick Harison, and Wesley Kucera.

Saturday Night Vivant! Texas Premiere: A performance by Vivant!, a group of multi-talented musicians whose primary musical training centered around the accordion, in addition to various other keyboard instruments and other acoustical and percussion instruments. The focus of the group is to share the unique versatility of the accordion and the various styles of music that are possible to produce with the instrument.

There will also be a performance by the 2008 Accordion Orchestra and Band and much more!
