What:
The Fabulous Polkasonics play the sounds of Polish-American polka music. Rooted in the folk music of the Polish immigrants from the Tatra and Zakopane Mountain region, transformed and stylized by Polish-American artists like Eddie Zima, Li'l Wally Jagiello, Marion Lush, Casey Siewierski and many others, the band carries on the simple, small ensemble sound...similar to the typical Polish-American, honky-tonk and picnic band of the 50's and 60's golden age of polka music. The music is a unique hybrid of Polka, American Jazz, Dixieland, Popular Music and the folk songs of Eastern Europe.
