What:

Weird Al Yankovic got his start by sending homemade tapes of accordion-powered novelty tunes to Dr. Demento. From "Eat It" to "Like a Surgeon" to "Amish Paradise", Yankovic is easily the most famous purveyor of song parodies in music history.

Still going strong after 25 years of recording, Weird Al Yankovic has enjoyed a longer career than most of the artists he has parodied. And his best days certainly aren't behind him; his latest album, "Straight Outta Lynwood", recently earned him his first Top 10 US album and single ("White and Nerdy").

And, no, even though he plays the accordion and has the last name "Yankovic", he isn't related to polka legend Frankie Yankovic.
