What:
On Saturday September 20th, 2008, the John C. Fremont Hospital Foundation in Mariposa, California will present its Second Annual “BLAZIN’ HOG” BBQ Competition and Zydeco Music Festival, to be held at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds.
Once again, the stage will be alive with Zydeco dance music from valley and bay area recording artists. Our headliner this year is Tom Rigney and Flambeau! Other performers include Blues Box Bayou Band and Mark St. Mary & His Louisiana Band.
BBQ contestants will be competing for $500 cash prizes. Their food will be evaluated by a panel of judges, and the tasting public.
Admission is only $10, with a discounted price of $7.50 for senior groups. Students 12-17 $5.00, and kids under 12 free with adult admission.
