We are pysched to continue our concert series co-presented by MySpace Latino right here in LA at the famous La Cita Bar. Headlining the show will be none other than those vallenato-crazy party boys Very Be Careful, along with the lovelies (and just as raucous) La Santa Cecilia. Opening up, pretty pop buzz band Wait.Think.Fast. Of course, the Mucho DJs , Pitxu, Pajaro, Frank Leopold, Noir will be providing the good pop Latino sounds before, in between and after the live performances.

Very Be Careful are Colombian-born, Los Angeles-based, self-professed “booty shakers” who have successfully imported the vintage traditional vallenato music from the Colombian fishing villages and farming community into their music. The music fuses urgent, danceable accordion rhythms with lyrics that speak of love, barroom brawls and salt-of-the-earth heroes.

La Santa Cecilia was formed in Los Angeles in the summer of 2007 by 6 members: La Marisoul, Gloria Estrada, Jose Carlos, Alex Bendana, Miguel Ramirez, and Hugo Vargas. The band as a whole has creatively blended genres such as Bolero, Cumbia, Jazz, Afro-Cuban, Norteno, Tango, and Bossa Nova together creating a unique L.A. fusion sound. Each band member infuses his and her own musical influences into the group, making the music fun, danceable, and romantic.
