Acclarion, Canada's premier accordion-clarinet duo -- David Carovillano and Rebecca Sajo-Carovillano -- was formed in 2003. Since that time, they have exposed audiences to their unique sound, which is a blend of classical, jazz, folk, and pop influences. Canadian composers, including Charles Cozens and Alexander Rapoport have written music for them, while David has composed and arranged many works specifically for the duo.

Live performances have taken Acclarion across Ontario and Quebec, while their music has been played regularly on national public radio. Their distinctive sound is perfectly suited for film music, and has been featured in the Canadian-produced documentary, "Sing Me To Sleep." In 2006, Becky and David were married in a highly-publicized concert-wedding. They performed original compositions by David, with guests Erica Goodman (harp) and Angela Park (piano).

Acclarion's live concert performance broadcast on CBC Radio introduced audiences to their expanded quartet, Quadratone, which adds viola and tuba. The eclectic quartet containing woodwinds, strings, and brass, provides a remarkable rich sound to arrangements of classical standards. Acclarion moves forward in 2007 with their first U.S. tour, as well as engagements with Jeunesses Musicales, and various performances in Southern Ontario.
